…before he came up with the final design of his Flip-Flap Chair:
“FLIP-FLAP is a children’s chair with a backrest which can be flipped down to form a stepladder. It allows children to concentrate on a personal activity, but also to get some self-sufficiency, to discover unexplored spots, or to rise up to adult height to take part in everyday tasks such as preparing a meal or developing a project at the table.”
Assuming the geometry was workable, I’d love to have an adult version of this.
