Here’s Arne Jacobsen’s iconic Egg Chair.

I would like to call Jacobsen’s design “inimitable,” but in this day and age, that word doesn’t mean what it used to.

Here’s the Classic V2 Massage Chair with Ottoman by manufacturer Nouhaus:

To me, it looks a little too close for comfort to Jacobsen’s design. So I was astonished to see that the Nouhaus product won a Red Dot Design Award.
