I understand the appeal of the hexagon to geometry lovers, but I don’t think they’re a very useful shape for storage, as loading them up with our predominantly rectilinear objects leaves a lot of wasted space. I was curious what this concept would look like with squares instead, and turns out Olim’s done those too, with this Module 22 variant:
