Danish furniture designer Jakob Jørgensen’s Hanger is a wall rack that comes in two sizes.
Each is made from two pieces of oak, an unseen stainless steel back panel, a shelf and some very precisely turned dowels.
The dowels slide into the channel between the oak pieces and feature two turned concavities on which to hang items from. They remain loose side-to-side and can be slid to any point in the channel. The shelf works the same way.
A really nice, minimal object. I’d like to see a heavier duty version of this for the foyer, but I’m guessing this works fine for a bedroom or kitchen.
