Watch This Guy Singlehandedly Build a Self-Supporting Bridge
Reader H. Andy Lingua came across an older post we did on Leonardo da Vinci’s design for a self-supporting bridge, and pointed out that the method was used in ancient China as well. Lingua also pointed us towards one of the quickest and simplest demonstrations of how the bridge can be built; we’ve embedded it below.
I can’t be the only person who now wants to grab some lumber and try this out in the backyard.
The video is from the YouTube channel Grandpa Amu. Despite being in China and at least a generation older, judging by his videos he has a lot in common with Jimmy DiResta!
