Automotive Photographer on Lockdown Creates Realistic Photo Shoot Using Toy Car, Treadmill
With a much-anticipated Lamborghini photo shoot canceled due to the lockdown, automotive photographer Kunal Kelkar found a creative workaround: Use a toy Huracan and a treadmill.
After his trip to Tuscany was scuttled, Kelkar, stuck in his apartment in India and unable even to go to the gym, was spending a lot of time burning calories on his treadmill. “During a cool down,” he told Bored Panda, “it dawned on me that the treadmill belt below looked very similar to a road in motion.” Kelkar grabbed a ping pong net, a spray bottle, a 1:18-scale Huracan replica he happened to have handy (he’s a Lamborghini fan) and got to work.
