Thousands of gun rights activists took part in a peaceful rally on Gun Lobby Day, today, in Richmond, Virginia. Demonstrators from Virginia and from out-of-state gathered around the State Capitol building to protest gun-control legislation being pushed by Virginia Governor Ralph Northam and other Democratic state legislators, such as universal background checks and a military-style weapons ban. Although many participants showed up armed, no arrests were reported.
