Pratt Institute’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) provides high-quality credit and non-credit courses and programs to adult learners in a variety of subjects for educational advancement, career change, and enrichment. SCPS students obtain the necessary tools to stay ahead in today’s competitive workplace. Through innovative programs and courses, students expand upon and sharpen their skill set to advance their career goals.

Courses are offered at its Manhattan location at 144 West 14th Street during each fall, spring, and summer term, and on Pratt’s campus in the historic Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn.

Courses include: Making Wearable Art: Beginner Jewelry Fabrication, Finding Your Voice: Branding, Marketing, and Creating Your Unique Presence in the Jewelry Industry, and Computer Aided Design and 3-D Modeling for Jewelers.

This spring, take your jewelry making practice to the next level. Enroll in the Jewelry Design and Marketing Certificate. Engage in a suite of courses intended to help you acquire increased design proficiency and strategies to bring your creations to market. Explore the fundamental building blocks of design and marketing with accomplished jewelry industry professionals.  Take courses individually or all 6 to earn a certificate. Courses include guest speakers and provide multiple opportunities to meet peers, build your professional network and develop a design portfolio.
