What can one expect from a Milanese apartment belonging to world-famous Dimore Studio founders, Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran?
A delicious clash of heritage and modernity? Check. A melange of styles, colours and a series of rules made and broken? You betcha. A bit of wrong-dot-com meets moments of visual ecstasy? Naturally. You mean, like, design fireworks? Basically.
You know, I’ve loved and hated on Dimore boys in equal measure – they made me cry (in a good way) here, squeal for joy (always a good thing) here,… But they also made me feel disappointed, and once or twice kind of angry too.

But look, if design makes you feel something, and causes such a strong reaction, that can only be a good thing. There are definitely no luke-warm meeehs when it comes to Dimore because these guys are the pioneers of an exceptional and truly unique aesthetic, forging new ground in unchartered territory of unwritten design rules. Unapologetically glamorous style, exuberant use of colour, gloss mixed with the raw and the patina – everything perfectly harmonising together in the most unexpected way. And therein lies their magic.
