Alice McCALL Miranda store by Studio Wonder echoes the gelato parlour aesthetic of the fashion brand, complete with lightly speckled terrazzo floor, milky white joinery and walls, and polished brass clothes racks.


Paramount House Hotel by Breathe Architecture Opens in Sydney.

Paramount House Hotel’s copper-clad roof shines on Commonwealth Street in Sydney’s Surry Hills, and signals the completion of a long-running transformation of what was once the former warehouse and offices of Paramount Picture Studios.


SAVVY Studio’s Gowanus Inn & Yard Opens In Brooklyn.

Designed by New York and Mexico City-based SAVVY Studio, Gowanus Inn & Yard hotel’s style sticks to its unpretentious, industrial Brooklyn neighbourhood—blending in with the local streetscape.


Fred International Unveils New Melbourne Showroom.

Fred International’s new showroom in Melbourne’s Collingwood is much more like a well-appointed apartment than a glossy storefront. Its cohesive aesthetic works to reflect the building’s bones as well as its inner-city location.


Hunter & Co Deli In Elsternwick, Melbourne By Mim Design.

Mim Design’s concept for Hunter & Co Deli takes literal inspiration from antipasti and all that makes the deli/ bar great: bocconcini balls and slithers of camembert, mortadella, and chilled rosé.


TABLEAU Flower Shop In Copenhagen By Studio David Thulstrup.

Danish florist Julius Værnes Iversen wanted to cultivate more of the artistry and the drama in his blooms. To do so, he enlisted local designer and architect David Thulstrup to help realise his botanical vision.


Seam Seating Collection By Adam Cornish For Tait.

Adam Cornish’s first collection for Tait features a series of cuts, folds, and joins. Called Seam, the series was put together with a design process not too dissimilar to the way a piece of fabric is tailored.


Jon Goulder’s Innate Furniture Collection For Spence & Lyda.

Innate furniture collection is the debut collaboration between Adelaide-based designer Jon Goulder and Sydney-based retailer Fiona Lyda. Intended to have a distinct Australian sensibility, Innate is resolutely spare, lean, elegant, and made from markedly Australian materials.


Essastone Unique Calacatta By Laminex.

Essastone Unique Calacatta, is the first Calacatta engineered stone that’s truly inspired by the original marble. Its ultra-realistic representation features pristine white and bold grey veining – and works as benchtops, splashbacks, and interior wall linings.


Attalos Lighting Range by Marz Designs.

Inspired by architecture from ancient Greece, Attalos collection of timeless lighting piece fits in with Marz Design’s fondness for mid-century architecture, layered with soft, contemporary craftsmanship.

Launching during Milan Design Week 2018, Sonia Pedrazzini ‘s Le Morandine collection of ceramic vases is a homage to Giorgio Morandi. Realised in still life master’s typical colour palettes, these elegant everyday objects feature forms evocative of Morandi’s legendary paintings.

Launching during Milan Design Week 2018, Sonia Pedrazzini ‘s Le Morandine collection of ceramic vases is a homage to Giorgio Morandi. Realised in still life master’s typical colour palettes, these elegant everyday objects feature forms evocative of Morandi’s legendary paintings.
