Happy Easter! St. Peter’s Basilica, located within Vatican City in Rome, Italy, is regarded as one of the holiest Catholic sites and one of the greatest churches in all of Christendom. Construction of the church began in 1506 and was completed in 1626. The facility is seen here during the Pope’s mass on Easter Sunday in 2015.
