To honor the passing of the Steven Hawking, we are sharing this simulated image of a black hole. To date, there are no actual photographs of a black hole. Among his many groundbreaking discoveries, Hawking theoretically predicted that black holes emit radiation. We are saddened to hear of his loss but we are tremendously grateful for his immense contributions to science and to the knowledge of space.
