I’m excited to be back in New York City for a couple of days! Here we see Central Park, which spans 843 acres or 6% of the island of Manhattan. One of the most influential innovations in Frederick Law Olmsted’s design of the park was its ‘separate circulation systems’ for pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders, and cars. The park also contains numerous tennis courts and baseball fields, an ice-skating rink, and a swimming pool.
