Mid Century Modern Find of the Week: Hans Wegner GE-240 Lounge Chair

This Danish modern lounge chair, model GE-240, was designed by Hans Wegner for Getama in 1955.

It’s crafted in quartersawn oak, with flawless joinery throughout.

Sculpted “cigar” arms show off the natural beauty of the wood grain.

This model has been re-upholstered with new Kvadrat wool, and foam covers the sprung cushions.
