Iguazu Falls, the largest waterfall system in the world, is located on the border of Argentina and Brazil. Approximately half of the Iguazu River flows into a long and narrow chasm called the Devil’s Throat — the u-shaped falls seen here at left — that is roughly 700 meters (2,297 ft) high. The total number of waterfalls at Igauzu fluctuates between from 150 to 300, depending on the water level.
