As we conclude the year that was, we have a selection of the best submissions we’ve received this month, from new interior projects – a super playful design hostel, a temporary cafe installation, minimal & textural retail stores, and lots more! Redfern Terrace by Kirsten Stanisich of SJB Interiors.The brief for this Redfern terrace called for an overall sense of calmness, with a focus on texture, and simple but sophisticated detailing.

Designed by Icelandic studio Dodlur, the interior of ODDSSON hotel/ hostel on Reykjavík’s waterfront radiates freshness, playfulness and originality.

Designed by Ohlo Studio, the brief for Dilettante Perth flagship called for a unique physical experience – considered, minimal, textural, and experimental.

For the design of Larsson & Jennings NYC Store, Studio Mills was inspired by the West Village, referencing the materials of the local area inside the store.
