National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year 2016 (12 photos)

Last month, the winners of the 2016 National Geographic Travel Photographer of the Year competition were announced, with the Grand Prize awarded to photographer Anthony Lau, for his photograph of  Mongolian horsemen charging through the snow in Inner Mongolia. Lau was awarded a seven-day Polar Bear Photo Safari for two at Churchill Wild–Seal River Heritage Lodge.
