‘Orange is the New Black’ star Uzo Aduba once again shows off her linguistic prowess

It’s official: Uzo Aduba is a master in linguistics.

Just a month ago, the talented actress who plays Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in Orange is the New Black delivered a repertoire of Singlish phrases that delighted her Singaporean fans.

Aduba is back again with a video message where she speaks in Filipino and fans are raving over her spot-on pronunciation.

August is “Buwan Ng Wika” — National Language Month — in the Philippines, where they speak several languages, including Tagalog, Cebuano and Ilocano.
