Genius man nearly gets struck by lightning while live streaming

Blogger Nick Griemsmann was playing weatherman during an intense thunderstorm in Arizona recently when the job got a little too real.

Griemsmann was showing off the wind and rain on the live streaming app Periscope when a burst of lightning struck extremely nearby, knocking the phone straight out of his hand.

“Wow! That thing hit, like, right next to me,” Griemsmann says.“Whew! That was fun.”
