London is the capital and most populous city in the United Kingdom. Today, the British people will vote on a referendum to decide if their state will stay or exit the European Union. This will be the second time the British electorate has voted on the issue of Britain’s membership: the first referendum was held in 1975, when continued membership was approved by 67% of voters.
