Melissa McCarthy picked up the Comedic Genius Award at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards. She also crowd-surfed her way to the stage, where she promptly gave a girl-power-filled speech.

But first, she took a moment to scold Kevin Hart for dropping her golden popcorn trophy. McCarthy would not let him off the hook.

“I’m going to take Kevin’s back and replace my kernels. That wasn’t part of the bit,” McCarthy joked, after rejecting several of Hart’s hug attempts. 

She continued: “Thank you, Mr. Rock Johnson, and thank you to The Rock’s assistant, who — I don’t know about keeping your job after that. But we’ll see how that goes.” Read more…
