Bit is a representation of a bit (binary digit), and as such is only capable of providing (0,1) answers to any question, through which it managed to convey various emotions.
Physically, Bit was represented within the movie by a blue polyhedral shape that alternated between the compound of dodecahedron and icosahedron and the small triambic icosahedron (the first stellation of the icosahedron). When the Bit announces the answer “yes” it briefly changes into a yellow octahedron, and when it announces “no” it changes into a red 35th stellation of an icosahedron.
