Check out these views of San Francisco like you’ve never seen it before! DigitalGlobe’s newest satellite, the WorldView-3, was a remarkable 800 miles away over the Pacific Ocean when this Overview was captured. The focal length of the satellite’s camera is 32 times longer than a standard DSLR camera, making an image like this possible. Within the Overview, many of the city’s famous landmarks are visible, including the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz, and Golden Gate Park.
