New Yorkers honor David Bowie with pun-derful ‘David Bowery’ street sign
Now New Yorkers can remember David Bowie every time they’re hailing a cab on the Lower East Side.
While many have paid tribute to the rock legend with original art, impromptu sing-a-longs and makeshift shrines of flowers, candles and album covers, some artists decided to mark Bowie’s territory on the corner of Bowery and Houston in New York City.
