How to play the ‘Doom’ creator’s first new level in 21 years

John Romero co-created the seminal first-person shooter, Doom. And now, for the first time in 21 years, he’s built a new level for the original game. We’re going to tell you how to play it. If you prefer pictures to words, scroll down past all the text to find a pictorial step-by-step.

First, you’ll need the new level. Romero kindly shared it in a public Dropbox folder that he then posted on Twitter. It’s a tiny download. Grab it from the embedded link below.
